It is important to us that no personal data we receive is sold onto a third party and that we do our best to obtain only vital information needed to provide the best customer service and to function as an online business.

The aim for our website is provide important quality products to our customers and develop and promote hand drawn illustrative design.

Product Advertising

     The images of the Products on our site are for illustrative purposes only. We advertise products to display the colours accurately as much as possible, However we cannot guarantee that your computer’s display of the colours accurately reflect the colour of the Products. Your Products may vary slightly from the images on our site including the packaging.

      We hereby reserve the right to add to or delete Products from our product range at any time or to change the specification of products without notice.  This does not affect your statutory rights.

Personalised Products and Commissions

      In respect of personalised or commissioned products we create such products according to the agreed information (be that text, imagery or descriptions) that you provide to us.

      You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide including any specifications, style, purpose, spelling, grammar or agreed size is accurate and deemed enough information to reasonably allow an accurate interpretation of the desired final product for the information provided. We cannot accept the return of personalised or commissioned products if the reason for the return is due to outcome being unsatisfactory for the customer due to any of the following reasons:

        Your statutory rights will not be affected regarding products that are faulty or not as described. If you need advice regarding your legal rights please contact your local Citizen’s Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office.

Personalised or commissioned products cannot be returned or a refund paid unless it is reasonably agreed that we have made an error in our judgement to translate of the information you have provided into the creation of a satisfactory product. For example a spelling mistake on our part where the information you provided is correct means you (the customer) are entitled to a full refund. Where possible any errors on our part will be corrected before a full refund is necessary and we will decide whether to provide you with a discount or compensation at our discretion should the delivery deadline be extended as a result of our mistake. If we cannot meet an agreed deadline which would have been specified by the customer due to our mistakes or inability to produce the product the customer is entitled to a full refund. If the customer has been found to have delayed the process of creating the personalised product or commission and is requesting a refund due the initial deadline not being met, the customer will not be entitled to a full refund. By delaying the process

Should any personalised or commissioned products need to be changed after or during their creation as a result of new information or decisions being made by the customer then this will result in a reasonable charge to compensate the time and materials. A reasonable charge is deemed between £10-£20 per hour for time and for materials between a minimum cost price with up to a 25% increase. For any amends regardless of the time or material cost a minimum charge will be £5.

     On receipt of an order for personalised or commissioned products we will aim to send you a proof for your approval as soon as reasonably practicable and will aim to deliver orders within 1 week of receipt of your final approval of a proof.  However, we will notify you of an expected delivery date on receipt of approval of the proof which may be more than 1 week. If usual delivery deadlines are not achievable due to unforeseen circumstances a banner notice will clearly state the changes on the homepage of the website to inform customers. All deadlines must be agreed in writing between the customer and www.drawnbyhand.org otherwise up to 15 working days is needed to produce personalised or commissioned products that are advertised on a product page.

Downloadable Products

Downloadable products unless personalised are available for immediate download after payment had been made. Personalised downloads purchased on a product page of the website are available up to 15 working days after receiving all the necessary information need to create the product. Necessary information is deemed that with is demanded on the product page. Any commissioned downloadable products will need to have an written agreed deadline between the customer and www.drawnbyhand.org.
